舞蹈的重要特征是"长于抒情,拙于叙事。"人类用自身的形体动作和思想情感来进行社会生活,交流信息和沟通感情,所以民间舞蹈的艺术形象总是融合在情感之中的。情感沉积于民间舞之中,一旦失去了"情",就感染不了观众,"情"是民间舞生存的根基,也是我们在民间舞教育教学中的"根"。
