摘要
大学英语改革进行了这么多年,我国的英语语言教学虽然取得了不小的进步,但仍然存在不少问题。社会对大学生语言运用能力的要求越来越高与目前大学生表达能力产生较大差异和矛盾,使得不少专家学者对大学英语教学进行了深刻地思考与探索。笔者试图通过以富布莱特外语助教身份在美国执教一年的经历,对中美两所院校的外语教学进行对比,找出差异,取长补短,为推进大学英语改革提出几点建议。
Despite much progress is on the way of Chinese College English Reform which has been conducted for many years, there are many problems as well. The capacity of college students to express the language can not meet the demands of the society. The author tries to take the advantage of the experience of being a Fulbright Teaching Assistant in University of Massachusetts Amherst to compare and then find out the inspiring parts for Chinese language class.
