The paper makes a review of the present researches about the influence of fertilization on the yield and quality of lettuce and focuses on the effect of nitrogenous fertilizer.The researches reviewed mainly discuss how the fertilizer types and fertilization forms affect the yield and quality of lettuce from the perspectives of nitrogenous manure,phosphate and po-tassic fertilizer.Such a review can give us a general idea of the present researches and indicate directions for future resear-ches.
