This paper expoundes the origin、 development and foundation of the market economic system by analysing the property rights revolution、the commercial revolution and the industrial revolution which occured in Britain in modern times. The paper holds that the establishment of the market economic system is virtually the process of the formations of the private ownership system, the free market system and the free enterprise system.
