Abstract The tendency towards fluctuation in a year are an important feature of the domestic tourism market. Based on the investigation data of 1996 in Beijing, this article analyses the distribution features within a ten day phase of several sub markets of domestic group Tourist market, finding that climate and holidays(vacations) are the main controlling factors over the trends of those markets. Further analyses of the linear correlative coefficients come to the conclusion that the distribution of the Beijing inbound and outbound markets is stable, but the suburbs bound market is not so.
