摘要
金秋季节的北京,在中国共产党第十五次全国代表大会胜利召开的祥和喜庆中,由国家文物局主办、中国历史博物馆承办的《全国考古新发现精品展》,经过半年多的紧张筹备,终于在中国历史博物馆的中央展览大厅和观众见面了。这次展览,从全国各省、自治区、直辖市的90多个文博考古单位遴选了改革开放以来。
The exhibit, sponsored by the State Bureau of Cultural Relics and organized by the National Museum of Chinese History,will appear to the public in the latter's main hall in October. The exhibit owes its great importance to the fact that some six hundred displayed treasures,from the collections of over ninety archaeological bodies across the country,have been uncovered since China's reform,especially in recent years,many of them related with the Ten Major Archaeological Discoveries.
The most impressive items include the Paleolithic skull fossils of the Nanjing Man and Jinniushan Man,Neolithic jade articles of the Hongshan and Liangzhu cultures and pottery basin with dancing designs from Qinghai, bronze wine vessels of the late Erlitou culture and bronze ritual vessels from the Western Zhou,Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods,jade body ornaments from the royal tombs of the jin State of the Western Zhou dynasty at Qucun, Houma, Shanxi, silk textiles from the Han dynasty site at Niya in Xinjiang, inscribed bamboo and wooden slips of Wu of the Three Kingdoms from Changsha in Hunan and stone statues with gold appliqu from the Xinglong Temple at Qingzhou in Shandong.
