Abstract For the past year, the Netanyahu led coalition government composed of the right wing, the Ultra-right wing and the religious parties has pursued a hardline policy, landing the Middle East peace process in serious crisis. Netanyahu is against the Oslo peace process, but given the press of the actual condition, he cannot repeal the Oslo peace accord. He then wants to modify the accord, and delay the implementation of the obligations stipulated therein. Thus, the Palestine-Israel peace process is sinking in a state of last breathing before demise. Presently, Israel is entering an historic crucial juncture. The development of the trend of time makes it imperative for Israel to solve this question:whether to build Israel into a country which would continue to rule the Arab people and occupy the Arab land,or to become a ‘good neighour’ of the Arabs? By continuing the occupation of the Arab land, Israel will find no peace or tranquility; but to become a good neighbour of the Arabs, Israel will be rewarded with peace, prosperity and development.
