加强电大教材建设的力度

Strengthen the Teaching Materials Development in TV Universities

中国广播电视大学经过18年的实践,得到了迅猛的发展,但是其教材建设还不能完全适应教育事业发展的需要。具体表现在: 1.教材不适合学生自学。由于电大受人力、财力等多方面的限制,加上对远距离多种媒体学习材料的编制与使用规律缺乏深入的研究,所编制的教材大多不适合学员自学。例如在“注册视听生”开设的30门课中,还没有一门课的教材适合学生自学。 2.课程的理论性颇深,对学生的能力培养不够,教材未针对电大学生的特点及学历层次的要求来考虑,缺乏理论联系实际、学以致用的特色。 3.文字教材的印刷质量、音像教材的制作质量有待进一步改进提高。18年来广播电视大学已拥有300多门教材,就质量而言,令领导、教师、学生难以满意。尤其是音像教材未摆脱“人头像”单一的模式。 为此,1996年黄山全国电大教育工作会议拟定了《关于广播电视大学系统共建课程工作的意见》,决定系统共同筹集教材建设费、系统共建课程,并摸索经验,以此带动教材建设的全面改革。

It's a vital task of TVU' s reform to develop multi - media teaching materials. The national work conference on RTVU education held at Huangshan, Anhui province this year drew up a plan, 'Opinions on Co - developing Course Materials in RTVU System', which decide to co - finance the construction by the whole system and concentrate the advantages of the system as well as conventional universities on coures co - development so as to push forward the overall reform of teaching materials development.For this purpose, 1) a special office of the teaching materials construction of co-developed courses in RTVU system was set up, in charge of advertising for constructing institutions, examining, appraising and monitoring the process of coures co- development; 2) making the guiding ideology and basic principles of coures co- development; 3) introducing competition mechanism and training staff concerned. The first batch of co- developed courses chosen are: Fundamentals of Economic Mathematics, Enghish Listening Skill, Base of Office Automation, Computer Network, Fundamentals of Audit, Managemental Accounting, Chinese Contemporary Literature, Constitution Pedagogy, Rural Economy and Management, etc. Contractor units are being seeked and confirmed.
