Abstract The Literature and Art Schools repositing the literary translation into the range of national literature has undermined the foundation of the traditional translation theory. The author argues that the literary translation should be reposited according to its own speciality, and furthermore we should explore its own unique types of theory, models of criticism and viewpoints of history.
