本文通过对茱萸的本原、茱萸与九月九的结缘诸问题的探讨，挖掘出这一传统节日民俗事象的起源、传承、演变过程，以及从“每逢佳节倍思亲”的意识作用，升华出中华民族传统的家庭团聚、民族团结。

Abstract By recalling the famous line 'To pin zhuyü (a wild plant) all over ones head', the thesis endeavours to make a comprehensive study of zhuyus origin and classification as a plant and its ties with the Double Ninth Festival and it also explains the cause for such social practice and its evolution over the years. The well known saying 'On festive occasions more than ever we think of our dear ones far away' best represents the yearning of the Chinese people for family reunion, national unity and state unification.
