The Beijing-Kowloon Railway, which has been completed and opened to the public transportation, passes through the entire area in East Hubei, thus solving the problem of the transport bottle-neck. The area should seize the opportunity to develop tourism by means of connecting the railway with the highway and waterway and accelerating the sequential construction of infrastructure such as lodging and accommodation, the railway and highway, the land and water transport facilities, and travel service suited for the area. In order to assure the rapid growth of tourism in East Hubei, it is necessary to push the rich and typical tourist resources on to the tourism market, thus turning the resource superiority into economic one.
