江苏东海县尹湾汉墓群发掘简报

Excavation of Some Han Tombs at Yiwan,Donghai,Jiangsu

尹湾汉墓位于江苏省连云港市所辖东海县温泉镇尹湾村西南约2公里的高岭上。这里原是一处高出岭面的人工堆积土墩,面积约2500平方米。后因水土流失和人为因素逐渐削平,改为农田。温泉镇位于东海县城西北部,其北为羽山。羽山东西长1.5公里,海拔269.5米。汉墓所处位置就在羽山山脉的余尾,海拔高度54米(图一)。

These tombs were found atop a hill two km southwest of Yiwan Village, Wenquan Township, Donghai County ,Lianyungang,Jiangsu. Coded WM1-M6,they shared a com- mon structure of a vertical rectangular builf on the rock some five to eight meters below the surface. The tomb furniture includes coffins and coffin chambers ,some of which were equipped with foot and side boxes. Bluish white clay was filled in between the coffin chambers and pits. The tombs yielded large amounts of funerary objects including bronze,iron,glazed pottery,bone,horn,textile, wood,lacquer, jade,glass,etc. .There were many bronze mirrors,of which one from M4.27. 5 cm in diameter,had mythical and TL designs and inscribed rim. One horn ornament had beautiful openwork of dragons and phoenixes. Mention should also be made of the embroidered silk quilt with. a large unique design covering the tomb occupant of M2. Noteworthy are inscribed bamboo and wooden slips with a total of forty thousand characters,which assist with the dating of the fomb and identification of its occupant.
