浙江省博物馆新入藏越王者旨於睗剑笔谈

Symposium on the Sword of“越王者旨於睗” in the Collection of the Zhejiang Museum

最近,浙江省博物馆在上海博物馆的大力支持下,由杭州钢铁集团出巨资襄助,成功地从境外抢救回流失的国宝——越王者旨於睗剑,使之回归越国故里。越王者旨於睗剑,铜质。全长52.4厘米。剑作斜宽从厚格式,中脊起线,两从斜弧,双刃呈弧形于近锋处收狭。圆盘形剑首,圆茎上有两凸箍,箍饰变形兽面纹,剑格两面铸双钩鸟虫书铭文,共八字:

Recently acquired by Zhejiang Museum from overseas, this 52. 4-cm-long bronze sword is in a marvelous state with its shining blade encased in an equally well-preserved sheath lacquered black. Each side of the guards,beside inlaid turquoises, has eight characters in the socalled ' bird-and-worm script'. And the hilt is even still wrapped with silk. Of the swords ascribed to kings of the Yue state, unearthed or handedover, this one has no comparison.The sword causes much interest among scholars. Cao Jinyan, Ma Chengyuan, Li Xueqin, Chen Peifen, Ke Jun,Tan Dehui, Chen Zhenyu, Chen Zhongxing and Zhao Fen all give their opinions about the shape, inscription, manufacture, etc. of the sword.
