Socialist Market Economy and the Development of Human Nature

本文从社会主义市场经济新视角去研究人性。从社会经济结构研究人性的历史的和逻辑的起点是劳动，从一般抽象意义上说，劳动是主体同化客体的唯一手段，使人成为有本质规定的自为的人。人类的劳动必须通过一定经济关系才能实现，人性随社会经济形态变化发展而变化发展。社会主义市场经济体制中，人性在追求物质利益和追求精神完善的矛盾过程中，逐步达到自主性、主动性和自我意识的充分发挥，总的发展趋向为自由个性和人的全面发展。

Abstract The given thesis, taking a new perspective, aims to study human nature under the socialist market economy. Viewed from the economic structure of society, labour is historically and logically the starting point of the study of human nature. Generally and abstractly speaking, labour is the only means by which the subject assimilates the object. It is labour that turns human beings into a self-defined species. However, human labour can be complished only through certain economic relations and human nature changes and develops in accordance with the development of economic form of society. Under the socialist market economy system, tossed by the contradiction between questing for material benefits and seeking for spiritual consummation, human nature will gradually arrive at the full development of its autonomy, initiative and self-consiousness. The general tendency directs to the development of free characters and the all-round development of human beings.
