Abstract The income distribution in China's rural areas has become a crucial issue.The gaps between individuals and regions are widening. Income distribution and social differentiation influence each other The division of jobs affects the gap of income. The rural cadres and owners of private cnterprises are the two social groups who gradually rise to wealth, while the conditions of the needy peasants have left much to be desired.The grassroots' discontent towards the gap of income and the trade between money and power have become a threat to social stability.
