The rapid and continuous growth of Japanese economy in the post-war period is closely related to the development of its modern enterprise to a stage of maturity as well as the establishment and perfection of its modern enterprise system. The article makes a preliminary theoretical analysis of the modern enterprise system which has been established in Japan with the aim of offering a few edifying suggestions regarding the establishment of modern enterprise system well suitable to China's economic development at the present stage.
