New perspectives and distinctive characteristics : a review of five books on the history of modern Chinese literature

本文在逐一评价五部冲国近代文学史之后,指出它们虽然水平不一,但在中国近代文学研究历程中,都有所突破,且各具特色.它们都分别反映了60年代、80年代、90年代中国近代文学研究的成就,为我国的近代文学教学和研究作出了应有的贡献.

Through the introduction and review of five books on the history of modern Chinese literature , the author points out their common features as shown in their new perspectives and distinctive characteristics in each of their studies. Shedding light on the achievements of modern Chinese literature in 1960s, 1980s and 1990s with different depths of presentation respectively, the books each equally provide good materials for courses in Chinese literature.
