Face Threatening Acts and Their Regulating Strategies In Speech Communication

本文就言语交际中成胁受话人情面的言语行为(FTA)及其调控策略进行语用分析。首先运用“利益中心”语用原则分析了言语交际中的礼貌现象;介绍了成胁受话人情面的言语行为理论,并结合例证分析;最后指出了降低FTA威胁或伤害情面力度,增加礼貌程度的调控策略。

The present paper attempts to study the face threatening acts (FTA) and their regulating strategies in speech communication. It first applies the pragmatic principle 'Benefit Centre' to analyse the politeness phenomena, then it makes a further study of face threatening acts theory with exemplification. Finally it tentatively studies some regulating strategies for increasing the degree of politeness of speech acts.
