On the Economic Developmental Strategy of Resource-condensed Regions in Northern Shaanxi and Northwest China

西北地区拥有资源优势和资源富集区。资源富集区的经济开发应沿着资源型及以资源转化为主体的重化工型的工业化道路推进，其产业开发应选择增长极开发战略。陕北地区是位处陕西省的资源富集区，在陕西省的总体发展战略中，应确定重点开发陕北的战略思路，采取一系列战略措施加快陕北经济开发进程，促进陕西经济的腾飞。

In resource condensed regions, where natural resources are rich and their transformationin heavy chemical industry is of vital importance, the economic developmental strategy stemsfrom some growth spots to be carefully chosen. In Shaanxi Province, the growth spots mustbe located in Northern Shaanxi, where natural resources are condensed and large scaledevelopment is promising. Accordingly, practical measures must be taken in order to giverise to the all round economic flourish of the whole province.
