本文以苏联语法学家格·阿·维埃曼俄文版最新著作为蓝本,就以下九个词类中出现的较新或较少得到探讨的语法现象加以阐述:一、动词1.情态等价结构be able to与can同义,但前者具有较正式的性质。比较:Can youdo it?和Are you able to do it?除开以上文体色彩不同外,两者有时还有不同含意。
This essay is based on the article in Russian by G.A.Veikhman,an eminent Soviet linguist.It deals with the following(and other)relatively new phenomena in modern English grammar.
