A Study of Correlation Between Extremities Reaction Time and Performance of Young Chinese Women Volleyball Players

本文通过对我国187名青年女排运动员和65名普通大学生肢体操作反应时的测量,探讨了肢体操作反应时与她们精神运动特性、专项运动成绩之间的关系。

Visual and auditory performance reaction times (PRT) of upper and lower extremities of 187 youngChinese women volleyball players and 65 college students were measured by a photoelectric reaction timerand compared with the subjects' own psychological features and athletic performances. Statistical analysisshowed that (1) PRT of volleyball players was influenced by the sport itself, a short-time training, or thefield-position of the player; (2) PRT of some part of extremities was affected by age or psychologicalfeatuues; (3) A special correlation was found between PRT and athletic performance; and (4) There existecPRT differences between different extremities as well as different parts of extremities.
