摘要
西方对非洲传统思想的系统研究大致始于战后,苏联、东欧从60年代中期起也着手研究黑人的思想。而在我国,涉猎这一领域的人尚不多。
African philosophy is in essence the connotation of the traditional culture
of Africa; it is as well the theoretical outcome of expansion and retrospection
of this traditional culture. However, because of the long-clamouring fallacy
of 'Europo?centrism' and of 'inheritant defects', as well Mas the influence
of Hegel's work 'The Historical Philosophy', Black Africa was regarded as 'a
ivilderness for history and philosophy'. It wat not until in 1945 when Placide
Tempels published his book 'Bantu Philosophy' that Black Africa was redisco-
vered as 'A New Continent of Philosophy'. The study of African philosophy
today is significant for a profound analysis of the political and social probl-
ems in contemporary Africa.
