This is a report as a result of a fairly comprehensive investigation over the produc-tion, management, marketing, the introduction of technology and managing skill, andcooperation in eight Sino-Japan joint ventures. These eight joint ventures have provedsuccessful or comparatively successful: and this paper sums up their successful experiencein an initial manner and points out the existing problems.
