This essay puts forth a new criterion,on a theoretical level,for classification ofindustrial structure.And this calssification is in turn used to conduct a diachronicexamination on the evolution of industrial structure.Fresh views are offered on therelationship between evolution of industrial structure and economic growth.The essayputs particular emphasis on the upgrading of industrial structure of developing nationsand their strategy for economic growth,and it is proposed that China should makeproper preparation in this respect.
