发展经济学的出路在于建立新型的发展经济学。其途径是扩大研究范围,改进研究方法。首先应对照与参考外国经济发展的历史经验、加强发展中国家历史与经济发展现状的研究。其次建立新型发展经济学应该研究社会主义国家的经济体制改革及其有关问题,特别是计划调控与市场调节如何有机结合的问题。

It is necessary for Development Economics to take up the research on the conditions of the socioeconomic background of developing countries, particularly the research on the economic restructuring of develoPing socialist countries. Accordingly, developing countries should formulate their own development strategies in conformity with their own concrete conditions. The long feudalist domination in China obstructed the making of middle class which would push forward the social progress, and the foreign power's aggression ,the back-wardness in education, science, democracy and legal structures are the factors keeping China's economy behind that of the Western countries. Given the conditions of pluralistic economic structure in China, it is imperaive to reinforce infrastructure, basic industries and the scientific, cultural and educational undertakings, and thus lay the solid foundation for China's economic take-up. The relations between planning and marketing and the foundation of agriculture are the key factors in China's economic restructuring, which should be handled carefully.
