A DISCUSSION ON THE DEMONSTRATIVE EXPERIMENTS IN ELECTROMAGNETISM

本文指出了电磁学课堂教学中的演示实验之不足,提出了把有些演示实验集中起来并补充新的演示实验,编成演示组,改上演示课,在比较两者优缺点的基础上,重点阐述了演示课的特点和实施方法,进而讨论了演示课在教学上的重要意义。

This paper points out the shortcomings of the demonstrative experiments in the classroom teaching of electromagnetism, and suggests that some demonstrative experiments be combined together with additional new experiments to form a demonstrative set and, as a result, a demonstration class be substituted for a lecture class. Based on the comparison between the two kinds of teaching, this article describes the characteristics and teaching methods of the demonstration class, and explores further its importance in the teaching of physics.
