Literary Psychological Thought in Wen Xin Diao Long

陆机《文赋》首先对文艺创作的心理过程和主观体验作了细致的心理学描写,刘勰《文心雕龙》在这一基础上对文艺现象作了系统理论概括,其中不少思想具有相当深刻的心理学意义。本文着重评介(1)“物以貌求,心以理应”这一论断,认为他明确指出了文艺反映的特点;(2)“神用象通,情变所孕”,认为这概括地揭示了艺术想象的心理过程;(3)“本性异区,文体繁诡”,则较好地阐明了作家个性和作品风格之间的内在联系,对个性形成也有独到的见解。

A lot of Liu Sai's remarks in Wen Xin Diao Long coincide with theprinciple of psychology.This articleintroduces three points:1)literatureis the subjective reflexion of the ob-jective things on the part of an author,and it reflects his thinking and feel-ings by means of the description ofthings;2)in the process of the lit-erary conception,ideology plays a lead-ing role,while language plays a“starting”role;3)the style of theworks reflects the author's individu-ality.
