试论经济效益与环境效益的统一

ON THE UNITY BETWEEN ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESULTS

本文从社会主义建没的伟大目标出发,探讨经济效益与环境效益之间的有机统一问题。真正好的经济效益是,在各种经济活动中,使用较少的劳动力生产出更多更好的物质产品,人们赖以生存的社会和自然环境不断地得到保护和改善。如果只强调经济效益,而使人和动植物赖以生存的环境变坏,甚至于被毁坏的话,既使经济活动中产生的经济效益很大,也不能造福于人类。这是全社会必须引起注意的一个非常严重的问题。

This article is designed to discuss the organic unity between economic and environmental results trom the magnificent goal of socialist modernized construction.The really good economic benefit is that as more and better material products are made by using less labou in various kinds of economic activities, social and natural environments on which people depend for existence must be continuously improved and protected. If only economic benefit is stressed and the environment on which persons or things rely for existence becomes worse, even destroyed, the economic result in the econnomic activity can not bring benefit ot mankind even if it is much better. This is a very serious problem which must be paid attention to by the whole society.
