The Mildewing of Cultural Relics and Their Materials

文物生霉是常可见到的现象,不同文物的生霉情况是否存在差异？与文物的质地是否存在关系？这些问题的认识与解决,自然是搞好文物防霉的前题。因此,本文拟对此进行讨论。

The cultural artifacts are damaged for lots of reasons. Of which, the mould damage is probably the most serious one. Artifacts can be divided into inorganic and organic according to the quality of material. Those organicmaterial artifacts provide better enviroment for the moulds,so it is easy to be injured. The inorganic-material artifacts don' t have nourishnent for moulds, it is different to go mouldly, even though, some organic materials om the inorganic materials artifacts can also cause mould damage. This essay analyses the relationship between mould damages and the qualities of artifacts.
