On the basis of the different types of translations put forward by Newmark, a famous trans-lation expert, that expressive function is taken as the principal one, informative function is takenas the principal one, and vocative function is taken as the principal one, this paper expoundsthat the translation methods to be used should be decided by the content of translation. Thepaper discusses a principle for a technical negociation interpreter, and investigates the rea-sons of misunderstanding in the process. Also solutions to the problems that frequently occur to the interpreter are given in the paper.
