论大学外语的教育功能——兼析我院外语教学中存在的问题

Discussion on Educational Function of College Foreign Languages

大学外语的教育功能主要体现在获取专业所需的知识信息和语言交际能力上。体育学院外语教学现状不尽如人意:学生外语基础差;教学内容简单;多停留在传授语言知识上。

The educational function of college foreign languages is mainly embodied in obtaining the knowledge information required by the specialities,and the capacity of language communication.The paper presents that the state of teaching foreign languages in P.E institutes is not satisfactory with the poor basis of the students' foreign ianguages,and the simple teaching contents.Therefore,the teaching of foreign languages in P.E.institutes still remains passing on the language knowledge.
