摘要
登封县位于河南省的中西部,县境内北有中岳嵩山,南有大小熊山与箕山,发源于县西的颍河横贯县境中部向东流去。告成镇在县城东南约11公里处的颍河北岸河谷盆地中间。1979年至1980年,河南省文物研究所在告成镇附近发掘王城岗龙山文化中晚期城址和东周阳城遗址期间。
The sites of Bafang and shuangmiao belong to the Yangshao Culture,and
they were occupied all through the whole period of this culture.According to
the feature of the early pottery,they should be the successor of the local Peilig-
ang culture;and to the late pottery,they maybe the ancester of the local
Longshan Culture represented by Beigou Site.The excavation at the two sites are
very important for building the chronological sequence of Neolithic in the
middle-west of Henan Province.
