摘要
中国是世界上历史最悠久的文明古国之一,中国的古代文明是在中国大地上独自发生、土生土长的,有其产生和发展的深厚基础。中原大地的新石器时代文化,就是这深厚基础中无可替代的一块基石。解放前,在河南只发现十多处仰韶文化和龙山文化的遗存。建国后,在被誉为“中国考古学黄金时代”的岁月里,经过多次调查和发掘,在河南找到了近千处新石器时代遗址。
As an early neolithic culture of about 8000 years ago Peiligang Culture has been one
of the most important archeological discoveries of China since the founding of the
People's Republic.Till now,more than 100 sites have been found in 42 counties of Henan
Province.Among them,Peiligang,Egou,Shigu,Jiahu and some other sites have been
excavated.Besides house foudations,cache pits,kilns and burials,a large quantity of
specific stone tools and pottery vessels have been unearthed.Because of their differences
geographically and chronologically,the sites of Peiligan Culture appear somewhat
different in their cultural contexts,and can be divided into two distinct types,Peiligan
and Jiahu.Based on the stratigraphical and typological studies,the Yangshao Culture
of Henan Province may have succeeded the Peiligan Culture.
