日军进占公共租界后上海银钱业临时联合会的活动

A Review on the Temporary Federation of the Shanghai Monetary Associations after the Japanese Army Occupied the International Settlement

侵华日军进占公共租界后 ,对上海华商银钱业实行统制政策 ,查封中中交农四行 ,致使租界内金融机构几乎陷入瘫痪状态。为应对复杂局面 ,上海银行公会与钱业公会联合成立上海银钱业同业会员临时联合委员会 ,与日伪当局进行诸多洽商或交涉 ,以促使同业行庄开展金融业务 ,以最终尽可能维护同业各行庄利益。上海银钱业临时联合会与日伪当局的接洽或交涉活动 ,说明以上海银行公会为主体的金融业同业组织并非甘愿听任日汪摆布 ,并非甘心投入日伪阵营 ;反之 ,却充分表明该两大组织在采取力所能及的手段 ,尽可能与日伪当局多方周旋 ,在为维护同业及客户利益进行着不懈的努力 ,并收到一定效果。
