How Managers Express Their Creativity

摘要 本文发展了管理创造力的定义,认为它是用一种才能超常和独创方式解决问题的能力,有创造力的管理者以他们自己的才能和智慧,或者通过学习,在与新颖的、独创的、有适应性意义的(作为一种功能)和充分发展的(才能)产物相伴随的创造过程中得到巨大的满足,因为创造力是一种能力,所以创造力必须转化为行为,其结果才能帮助组织或个人,我们提出原始的创造力本身并不一定导致多产的结果,要得到好的结果创造力需要从组织或优良的管理技能中得到扶持.我们也认为,鼓励、创造和革新可以给经理们提供影响组织劳动生产力发展的机会. This paper advances the definition of“Creativity in Management”to refer to the abili-ty to solve problems in an exceptionally competent and original way.Crcative managers arepeople who by their own abilities and propensities or through learning,can receive grcatsatisfacton from creative process that are accompanied with products that are new,original,adaptive(serving a function)meaningful and fully developed(competent).Sincecreativity is an ability,it must be translated into behaviour before the results can help eitherthe individual or the organization.We propose that raw creativity alone may not necessari-ly lead to productive results.Creativity needs to be buttressed by support from the organi-zation and good managerial skills to obtain good results.We also asssert that encouragingcreativity and innovation provide opportunities for managers to influence the course oforganizational productivity.
