《天体物理学之石可以攻天气研究之玉》是刊登在美国《科学》杂志上的一篇很有兴趣的论文,力学所译协分会选用此文作为翻译竞赛的材料,受到了热烈欢迎。作者同吴承康教授、董务民教授、李家春教授一起审阅了中译文并逐段进行了分析比较和评述。

An Astrophysical Guide to the Werther on Earth, an interesting thesis publishedin the American Science magazine, was selected as the material for the TranslationCompetition sponsored by the Institute of Machanics of CAS. Prof Wu Chengkang,Prof. Dong Wumin, Prof.Li Jiachun and the present author together checked andevaluated the Chinese translations. The review gives a detailed analysis of everyh,paragraph, making comparisons between different translations and comments on theChinese versions.
