摘要
本文对中国古典数学中的概念及其定义、算法形成、以及推理中的思维特征作了比较深入的考察后认为,与希腊数学普遍而严格地采取演绎的逻辑思维方式不同,中国数学以非逻辑思维为主,即主要通过直觉、想象、类比、灵感等思维形式来形成概念、发现方法和实现推理的。
After going deeply into the concepts and definitions, the formation of its algorithms and the thinking characteristics of its reasoning of Chinese classical mathematics, this paper has its conclusion that Chinese classical mathematics is different from Greek where mathematics strictly adopt the deductive mode of logical thinking. It mainly applies nonlogical thinking, producing its concepts, discovering its methods and conducting its reasoning by means of such modes of thinking as intuition, imagination, analogy and inspiration. This point, we think, is of great significance in understanding of the theoretical achievements and basic features of Chinese classical mathematics.
