Looking for New Cultivating Ways of Medicinal Plants from Indigenous Knowledge

目的 分析原住民知识中有关药用植物栽培实践的特点,为解决目前药用植物栽培方法中存在的一些问题提供新思路。方法 通过野外调查和室内分析、比较,结合实例了解原住民药用栽培实践的特点。结果 原住民具有丰富的药用植物栽培方法和经验,这些方法在某些程度上具有现代药用植物栽培方法所没有的优点。结论 结合现代药用植物栽培技术从原住民知识中寻求新的栽培途径大有可为。

Objective Medicinal plants and other non-timber products, such as mushroom and wild fruits, are maineconomic income to indigenous people. Their cultivation is very important to conservation and sustainable use ofmedicinal plant resources. However, there still exist some shortcomings in the many ways of cultivation, such as thedecreases of medicinal quality caused by plant diseases, insect pests and chemical pollution. There are abundant culti-vation methods and practices in medicinal plants cultivation and many advantages are obtained from indigenousknowledge. In this paper, the meaning of indigenous knowledge in cultivation of medicinal plants was analyzed throughthree examples practiced by indigenous people in Jinping County, Yunnan Province. Methods Field investigation andcomparison analysis methods have been used. Result Some practices in medicinal plant cultivation by local peopleare helpful to improve present and future cultivation methods. Conclusion It is considered that more attention be paidto indigenous knowledge by researchers who have modern technique research on cultivation of medicinal plants.
