摘要
To study tyrosine-kinase receptor expression in human neuroblastomas.Methods The expression levels of TrkA,TrkB and TrkC receptors were semiquantitatively examined by SABC immunohistochemistry technique in 40 cases of neuroblastomas.Results TrkA expression was only localized to NB cells in the tumor tissue and correlated positively with low tumor stage and favorable outcome (P<0.01).TrkB expression was primarily localized to spindle cells in the fibrovascular stroma of advanced tumor,but the correlation of TrkB expression with tumor stage and outcome wasn’t statistically significant (P>0.05).TrkC expression was mainly localized to NB cells in the tumor tissue and usually accompanied by TrkA expression in NB cells of developed differentiation,but TrkC expression didn’t statistically correlate with tumor stage and outcome (P>0.05).Conclusion The expression of tyrosine-kinase receptor TrkA correlates with the tumor stage and prognosis in neuroblastomas.10 refs,2 figs,1 tab.
