GENERAL INFORMATION World Journal of Diabetes(World J Diabetes,WJD,online ISSN1948-9358,DOI:10.4239),is a peer-reviewed open access(OA)academic journal that aims to guide clinical practice and improve diagnostic and therapeutic skills of clinicians.Aims and scope WJD covers topics concerningα,β,δand PP cells of the pancreatic islet,the effect of insulin and insulinresistance,pancreatic islet transplantation,adipose cells and obesity.We encourage authors to submit their manuscripts to WJD.We will give priority to manuscripts that are supported by major national and international foundations and those that are of great basic and clinical significance.
