医学院校是专业特色较强的高等院校,通过调查得知目前医学院校对体育课程改革的重视度还不够:医学院校的课程内容设置基本沿用传统的体育项目。医学院校医疗体育校本课程的开发,能结合医学专业特点、有针对性地培养医疗体育技能和专业素质的特色教学,是医学院校体育教学改革的方向和趋势。从医疗体育功能出发,结合医学专业特点,论述加强医疗体育教育的重要性和必要性,旨在进一步在体育课程设置上紧密结合医学特色,完善医学院校体育课程体系,发挥医学院校的学科优势。
