Summary of the National Symposium on the Educational Work of Health Economics

笔者徐文思、阎维君记叙了我国第一次卫生经济学教学研讨会的基本内容。来自全国各地院校的卫生经济学老、中、青教师聚集一堂,共研教学,交流经验,对提高教学质量,加强师资队伍建设有着十分重要的意义。会议认为,我国卫生经济学师资队伍已初具规模,但其数量严重不足,素质有待提高,远不能适应事业发展的需要。加强师资队伍建设迫在眉睫。这是提高卫生经济学教学质量的关键。会议还对师资队伍、教材、教学资料建设等方面的问题,提出了不少建设性意见。

Xu Wensi and Yan Weijun describe the main contents of China' s first national symposium on the educational work of health economics(HE) held March 25-29, 1988. Old, middle-aged and young teachers of HE from many parts of the country gathered in the same hall to discuss affairs of teaching and exchange experience, which is an event of great importance to improving the quality of teaching and strengthening the contingent of HE teachers. The symposium holds that our contingent of HE teachers has begun to to take shape, however, its serious understaffedmess and imperfect quality make it far from being able to suit the needs of development of the work. At present, to strengthen the building up of HE teacher contingent is a pressing demand and the key link in improving the teaching quality of HE. Many constructive suggestions were made concerning the building up of HE teacher contingent, the compiling work of textbooks and teaching materials, and other matters.
