摘要
王嘉谟是我国十六世纪末、十七世纪初地理学家。他的《北山游记》(载《蓟丘集》)以明晰的概念、准确的数据描述了北京西山那时的地理面貌,并表现了各地理要素问的相互联系,为恢复北京西山原生地理环境提供了珍贵的史料。
Wang Jiamo, a famous geographer in the Ming Dynasty, describes in his Travels of the Northern Mountain the geographical features of the Western Mountain of his time with clear concepts and exact data. His regional and classified description of the geographical landscape reveals the inter-relationship among the different geographical elements, thus providing precious historical data for the restoration of the primary geographical environment of the Western Mountain in Beijing.
