摘要
戴梓是清代初期人(1649—1726),曾制造过连珠火铳。过去人们都认为连珠火铳是机枪,称戴梓是机枪的发明人。本文从火器发展史的角度分析,认为在戴梓的时代不可能出现机枪。同时本文结合北京故宫博物院收藏的清代初期西方国家进献的一支20发燧发枪,说明戴铳仍是一种单发枪,而不是自动武器。
Dai Zi (1649—1726), living in the early Qing dynasty, had invented the magazine gun. He had been mistaken for the inventor of the machine gun. Examining the matter in the light of the development of firearms, the authors have come to the conclusion that the machine gun could not haste appeared in Dai Zi's time, and try to explain this with reference to a 20-shots gun offered by the West in early Qing, which is now preserved in the Palace Museum of Beijing. Dai Zi's gun is just a kind of single-shot gun, but not an automatic one.
