摘要
中国是一个幅员辽阔、人口众多、历史悠久的国家,其文化传统绵延数千年从未中断。在这一历史条件中形成的中国金属文化具有十分丰富的内涵和自己的技术、社会特征,对社会经济的发展起着重大的作用。
Almost all the metal wares of the Shang and the Zhou Dynasties were shaped by founding. The early technological tradition had a deep influence on the development of Chinese metallurgy. It is the key for us to understand why the cast iron appeared first in China and spread quickly.
The Chinese manifold but uniformed bronze culture took shape in the Shang Dynasty, while the iron culture made its appearance afterwards during the Warring States Period. The technological and economic ties played an important role in the consolidation of a unitary multinational country.
