摘要
国外现代咨询业至今已有一百多年的历史,直到1972年英国出版的《牛津辞典》才给咨询人下了比较明确的定义,即“胜任提供专业建议和服务的人”。1982年美国出版的《咨询工程师》一书,对从事工程咨询的咨询工程师的定义是“咨询工程师是在计费的基础上,为客户提供专业工程服务的、独立的专业工程师”。“他们出卖的只是服务、时间、知识和判断。”
