关于长江开发战略问题的探讨

A PROBE INTO THE STRATEGY OF EXPLOITING THE YANGTZE RIVER

长江是我国第一大河,作为一种多功能的手段,它在今日中国的经济腾飞中,有着极大的潜力。但时至今日,长江仍未得到充分的开发。长江的开发关系到国家经济发展的全局,关系到长江流域的生态平衡,是一个重大的战略问题。作者认为,对长江的开发首先要进行多学科的综合研究;三峡水利枢纽的兴建应顾及上游和河口,特别要研究它对上海地区的影响;长江的开发还要和长江大流域经济的发展保持协调。

The Yangtze River is the longest one in China.With multiple functions,it isvaluable with great potentialities in recent China's economic development.But ithasn't yet been exploited fully up to now.The exploitation concerns the wholeeconomic situation in China and the ecological balance in its valley.It is a greatstrategic issue.The author thinks that in order to exploite the Yangtze River wemust make a comprehensive study of many subjects.In the construction fo a water conservancy pivot in the Three Gorges,it is necessary to consider the situa-tion in the upper river and its exit,espeialy to study its influence on shanghairegion.The whole plan of exploiting the Yangtze River must he in harmony withthe economic development of the big Yangtze River Valley.
