Cultural translation studies has become the mainstream of translation studies,the cultural translation studies of culture-loaded words has become the core content of the research of many scholars.Through the comparative study of the material translation of culturally-loaded words of the two versions of 'journey to the west',to explore the comprehension and processing of two translators for the culture-load words,at the same time to examine the translatability of culture-loaded words.
