浅析高职高专学生英语学习动机与公共英语教学的关系

摘要 公共英语课程是高职高专非英语专业学生必修的一门基础课程。从教学理论上来说,高职院校英语教学必须探索出符合本校学生特点的教学内容和教学方法。所以探索并找到一套适合高职高专院校的课程教学手段是我们高职高专院校任教的老师的职责和义务。学生的英语学习动机不同,公共英语的教学也要跟着做适当的调整,这就是因材施教。它既适应了学生的实际水平,也能使教师有的放矢。 Public English course is one of the basic required courses for non-English majors in higher vocational colleges.From the teaching theory,English teaching in higher vocational colleges must explore the teaching content and teaching method conform to the characteristics of the school students.Therefore,to explore and find a teaching method suitable higher vocational college curriculum is teaching duties and obligations of our higher vocational colleges teachers.English learning motivation of students is different,public English teaching must follow the appropriate adjustments,it is to teach students in accordance with their aptitude.It not only adapts to the real level of the students,but also the teachers can have a definite object in view.
