Digital Technology VS Architectural Aesthetics

数字技术往往被视为建筑设计的新工具和新手段,其美学方面的意义易被忽视。本文从社会学意义上的建筑美、物质形态的建筑美、理想中的建筑美三个层面阐述数字技术给建筑美学带来的影响。社会意义方面,探讨基于环境行为学的设计(互动美学),数字技术将对建筑私密性、领域感、安全性等重新诠释,机器感知、远程控制等拓展了人的"感觉",促成建筑与人互动;物质形态方面,探讨理性控制替代主观想象的设计(过程美学),虚拟现实技术将引入时间、质感、声音等诸多要素,体现四维之美;理想形态方面,探讨综合性而非还原性的设计(整体之美)。数字技术有助于实现建筑形式的跃迁。

The digital technology is often regarded as the new tools and means of architectural design,the significance of its aesthetic aspects is easily overlooked.This article describes the impact of digital technology to the architectural aesthetics from three levels:the sociological sense of architectural beauty,the material form of architectural beauty and the ideal form of architectural beauty.Social significance aspect,this article studies the environmental behavior design(Interactive Aesthetics),digital technology re-interprets the privacy,field of sense,security,etc.Machine perception,remote control extends the 'feel' of people,and contributed to interaction between architecture and human.Physical form aspect,this article studies the rational control to which will replace the subjective imagination of the design(Process Aesthetics),virtual reality technology will consider the time,texture,sound and many other elements,which reflects the four-dimensional beauty.Ideal form aspect,this article studies the comprehensive design rather than reducing design(Integral Beauty).Digital technology will achieve the transition of building form.
